Almost 9 months...

We had our 9 month appointment today with Dr. Gould. Ella weighs 24 pounds and is 29 inches tall! High percentiles for both...
At nine months of age:
Ella's favorite things are: her family, smiling faces, pictures of animals, being on daddy's shoulders, links, laughing, crawling, pulling up, trying to stand on her own (balancing), books, grandmommy's singing voice, going for walks, grandpa's glasses, baths, feeding herself cheerios, mommy's closet, cords, toys, her cousin Jackson, christmas carols, the guitar, etc....
Her least favorite things are: getting pj's on for bed, being made to lay on her back, getting in the car seat(sometimes) and shots!

She is a MESSY eater at dinner...this picture describes that totally! She also is crawling and getting into everything! The picture of her under her exersaucer describes that!!! We can hardly believe that we just made her next doctor's appointment for her when she will be 1 year old! Time needs to start slowing down!

Ella is the STAIR master!

She never cared about the stairs before tonight - now it is all she wants to do!!! Get the gates ready. Poor Grandmommy!!!!

Halloween Weekend!

What a wonderful weekend for Halloween(despite all of the rain)!Aunt Robin flew in from Boston,

we had a big family lunch with Ella and her cousin Jackson,

and enjoyed a few moments at Brandywine State Creek Park.




We sure did miss Aunt Melanie and hope she feels better soon! Uncle JR too!!!

8 months old today!

I can't believe Ella is 8 months old...
We are coming around to hats and hoods again - thank goodness because the cold weather is setting in soon!

"All she wants to do is STAND, STAND!" Tonight she just wanted to stand and of course wanted that remote!!! Our girl is getting big so fast!!!

real crawling!!!

she has mastered the crawling without her belly having to hit the floor with each creep! Now she is even fast. Ella's favorite things to crawl to are; cords of any type(including my hair dryer cord), her penguin, Mr. Sun, or her mommy or daddy! She is truly mobile now! Her next milestone that she is working so hard at is being able to sit up from crawling. She is so close!

Pumpkin Patch With Friends

Today we went to Milburn Orchards to celebrate Christopher Columbus Day with friends. It was a true fall day (damp and chilly) and a great day for pictures! Three day weekends are the best - but it makes it that much harder to go back to school on Tuesday! Ella is now clapping, waving hello and goodbye and crawling forward without her belly. Dave and I laugh at her (with her) all day long!
