What a big weekend for my girl! She met Uncle Toby- her Godfather - for the first time, saw her first horse race at Delaware Park, went to where Meg and Ivan are going to get married and had her Baptism! She was such a trooper through the whole weekend!
Ella's Baptism was at 11:00am on May17th at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (the same place her parents got married). She wore a gorgeous gown that her grandmommy bought and was an angel through the service! She didn't even cry when the water was poured over her head or when Pastor Bob walked around the church with her after wards. After the service, family and friends gathered back at my parents house for lunch and laughs. We had a great time - food was delicious (thank you Mom) and so was Ella's cake (thank you Sharon!)...
It was unbelievable to see Toby - and to see Toby hold Ella! He is going to be such a great Godfather. Karen Carter will be a protective wonderful God mother - Ella is so lucky! I just kept trying to take snapshots in my mind of the day and the people that were there to celebrate with us. There aren't that many times in your life when all of your friends and family are all together...I sure was glad to have them all in one place yesterday.

Just read these blogs----
sounds like a wonderful day---So good that you had so much family and so many friends---It is so sad that the family didn't include the other side of Ellas family---I know that the Higgins and McGaugheys wish that they could have been represented too---We all love her as well---we will see her soon---Love Aunt Pat
